| Transcribing is a major focus of our business. We offer insurance, legal, conferences, meetings, and all audio and video transcribing ($32.00 fee to convert each hour from video to audio). We expanded our transcribing department in 1999 and added key transcribers to our staff. All our transcriptionists are experts in their field. Each one-hour tape contains 30 to 45 double-spaced pages, depending on the speed of the speakers.
We recently added digital transcribing - call us to see how easy it is for you!
What is the difference between digital and analog? Analog is the recording of information on standard, mini- or micro-cassettes. Digital is the recording of information on recorders in a format that can be easily sent over the Internet via e-mail or the use of FTP secure servers. The use of analog tapes to record important information is now being rapidly replaced by the use of digital recorders. The quality of digital is far superior than analog. With digital transcription there are no courier fees, no overnight fees, and completion time can be reduced by two days or more. With digital your transcription is given to the person who is an expert in your field as it can easily be transferred via e-mail. We can transfer from most digital sources such as the e-mail and CDs. We can handle most digital output, including .dss, .dvf, .dct, .mp3 and .wav. If you are still dictating using tape, it is easy to transition to digital. Our firm will walk you through the process, including what type of equipment is needed. The cost to transition to digital from tapes is minimal. The time saved is major as well as ensuring the quality of the diction. Analog tapes deteriorate after time – put digital on a CD and it lasts much longer. We can transcribe from any source. If we are unfamiliar with the source, our team of experts will figure it out. If you are still unsure what digital transcribing is, call us and we will be glad to explain the process to you at no charge. Our firm is a Certified Minority Business. We opened our first office in Tampa, Florida and have been successfully serving our clients, locally and nationally, since 1989.
